Rain Barrel Screens

Many water conserving households experiencing the unfortunate drought situations in the southeast are purchasing rain barrels to supply water and nutrients to their landscaping. Unfortunately the rain barrels are not very aestheticly pleasing to the eye. That is why we developed the rain barrel screening system. Each screening system is constructed of exterior wood materials, so it will last for many seasons. Each system will accomodate a rain barrel up to 30" wide and 43" tall. For those of you linking multiple rain barrels together, individual screening panels are available. Each rain barrel screening system comes unfinished, but since they are made out of wood, they can easily be stained or painted to match your homes exterior. Directions and all the necessary hardware are included with each screening system to make assembly easy for most homeowners.

Did you know that light colored rain barrels (blue, white, yellow, etc.) have a higher risk of developing algae and/or bacteria within the barrel? Our screening system will reduce the amount of sunlight your barrel will receive, in turn lowering the opportunity for algae and bacteria to develop.
Each screening system is constructed with a pressure treated frame and a 19/32" texture 111 (T111 with a slat spaced 8" on center) side panel. So the screening system will last for many seasons.
Since the screening systems are made from exterior wood materials, they can easily be painted or stained to match your homes exterior decor.

Pricing:

A three panel system (pictured) constructed from pressure treated lumber and 19/32" T111 is $75.00

A two panel system constructed from pressure treated lumber and 19/32" T111 is $50.00

Each additional pressure treated framed panel with 19/32" T111 siding is $25.00

Assembly is available at a rate of $5.00 per panel. So a two panel system will cost $10.00, and so on. Custom materials will be charged at a different rate dependant upon the material chosen.

North Carolina residents need to add 6.75% tax

For those Do-It-Yourselfers out there. The plans to build a three panel screening system are available at a price of $20.00 per plan.

Local delivery is available. Delivery within a twenty-five mile radius from our facility in Wake Forest is $20.00. A dollar per mile beyond the twenty-five mile radius will be charged in addition to the $20.00 standard delivery fee.

Shipping is also available to the lower 48 states.

Custom materials are available by request only. Pricing is dependant upon availablity and price of custom material chosen.
